Job Description
The SEO/AEO Specialist is responsible for enhancing the company’s digital visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. This role plays a pivotal part in driving organic growth by combining data analysis, content optimization, and technical expertise to ensure our brand is discoverable, credible, and engaging. Working within the Marketing or Digital Strategy team, the specialist collaborates closely with content creators, developers, and analysts to implement best-in-class SEO practices and develop new approaches for AI Engine Optimization (AEO). By bridging the gap between human search behavior and AI-driven algorithms, this position ensures the company remains competitive in the evolving landscape of online search and intelligent discovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in SEO strategy and implementation.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and on-page optimization
- Proven experience with structured data and schema markup.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing insights.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills (Optional)
- Experience optimizing content for AI-driven platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Copilot.
- Familiarity with conversational search and voice SEO.
- Experience in technical SEO for CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
- Knowledge of basic scripting (e.g., Python) for SEO automation and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies to improve organic visibility and brand authority.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and intent-based content mapping.
- Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure
- Implement and maintain structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD) for enhanced AI and search engine comprehension.
- Monitor technical SEO health, site speed, and crawlability using analytics and webmaster tools.
- Collaborate with content and web development teams to align strategy with brand objectives.
- Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and present actionable insights.
