Job Description
The Website Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with the company’s brand and business goals. This role involves a balance of creative and technical skills—translating UI/UX designs into functional, scalable web pages and ensuring seamless performance across browsers and devices. Working within the Technology or Product team, the Website Developer collaborates closely with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to create optimized and visually appealing digital experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in website development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js).
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and using Git for version control.
- Solid grasp of website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills (Optional)
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, or PHP.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
- Knowledge of database management (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Awareness of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain company websites and landing pages.
- Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code using modern front-end technologies.
- Develop responsive layouts ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Optimize website performance, loading speed, and SEO-friendly structure, collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic data.
- Manage website updates, content changes, and version control,Ensure web security best practices and data privacy compliance.
- Monitor analytics and implement improvements for better user engagement and conversion, Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and design trends.
